Brittany Chovanec is a certified Special Education teacher and taught in the  Fauquier County Public Schools for 7 years before staying home with their kids. Teaching children is a passion of hers and she specializes in using a multi-sensory approach to target the needs of her students. She is trained in Orton-Gillingham's IMSE and Linda- Mood Bell’s reading programs. She integrates Standards of Learning (SOL) objectives, social- emotional goals and IEP goals into sessions, individually tailored to each student.

Brittany's love of horses has led her to find ways to incorporate teaching with horses. She is a PATH certified Therapeutic Riding teacher, EAGALA Equine Specialist and trained in Horse Powered Reading. She wants to use her love of horses, animals and agriculture to teach kids using a unique, multi-sensory approach. 

​

​She is assisted by her husband, Andrew, and their sons Levi and Titus. Together they are learning how to use the land to be self-sufficient and teach others what they have learned.

​

Andrew is a jack of all trades and is know as the "fixer" of all things broken at the farm. He can often be found fixing fence, beautifying the property and riding his beloved 4-wheelers around the farm.

​Levi and Titus, Andrew and Brittany's sons, love running around the farm, petting animals and greeting guests. They share a love of animals with both their parents and an intense interest of 4-wheelers with their father.
